ACQUISITIONS STRATEGY

  • Previously acquired and managed 3 major office buildings in Washington D.C. on behalf of a client.

  • Upon achieving value-add goals for those properties, undertook assignment to oversee their disposition and advise on a tax-efficient reinvestment of the proceeds.

  • Recommended diversification away from multi-tenant office into a nationwide logistics portfolio.

  • In less than 12 months, acquired 36 logistics buildings (7,508,000 million sq ft) across 13 locations.

  • Total Purchase Price: $352 MM

ASSET MANAGEMENT VALUE-ADD

  • Upon acquisition, undertook asset management responsibilities for entire logistics portfolio.

  • Devised and implemented flexible leasing strategies to increase occupancy and operating income.

RESULT

Folded all properties into a private, non-listed REIT to hold as a tax advantaged income portfolio.
